The National Capital Area Provides Assistance to Patrons in Washington, D.C. on July 4th

The American Red Cross of the National Capital Area staff and volunteers worked together to be available and prepared to assist patrons who visited Washington, D.C. for the July 4th, 2008 celebration. Tents were set-up to provide relief to patrons from the heat and water was on hand to give to those experiencing dehydration.

Each year dedicated Red Cross workers arrive in the city to provide assistance during the July 4th holiday. If you are interested in volunteering, click here for more information.
