To train instructor candidates to facilitate factually, accurate, nonjudgmental and culturally appropriate HIV prevention education and skills-building sessions with Hispanic and multicultural groups. Prerequisites People who wish to enroll in the Hispanic HIV Education and Prevention Instructor must: - Be at least 17 years of age;
- Have passed the HIV/AIDS Facts Test within the past 12 months; and
- Possess a Fundamentals of Training Certificate (Cert. 3010) issued within the past 12 months or a current Health and Safety Services instructor authorization (F5736 or C3005).
- It is highly recommended that individuals who wish to enroll in the Hispanic HIV Education and Prevention Instructor Course have extensive knowledge or experience working with Hispanic groups.
