Lola Reinsch Founding, Current and Lifetime Member Lola C. Reinsch is a commercial real estate investor/developer and Chief Executive Officer of the E.G. Reinsch Companies, Arlington, VA. Ms. Reinsch received a B.S. from Purdue University. She held leadership roles in national marketing with B.F. Goodrich, IBM, The Singer Company and Memorex Corporation before joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokers and returning home to Northern Virginia to join her family’s business. The E.G. Reinsch Companies and affiliates own and/or manage more than 1,200 rental apartment units in Northern Virginia and Florida, and employ a staff of seventy. In addition, Ms. Reinsch completed building and developing 150 single family homes in Springfield, Virginia. In Charlotte (Davidson), NC, she has developed a 1,200-acre parcel into the River Run Golf and Country Club Community with approximately 1,000 occupied homes, a championship 18-hole golf course and a Tennis, Swim, Fitness Clubhouse with 16 tennis courts (four indoor). The 33,000 square foot Jeffersonian styled Golf and Dining Club, completed in 1991, won the “Design Award of Merit” presented by the American Institute of Architects. Both clubhouses were designed by Pierce Architecture, Ms. Reinsch’s husband’s former architectural firm. Ms. Reinsch holds the Certified Property Management Designation (CPM), associated with the National Association of Realtors. She has been named a Director Emeritus of the Northern Virginia Apartment Association and a former Advisory Board Director of NationsBank. Ms. Reinsch’s civic activities include being a 3-term Board member of the Arlington Hospital Foundation (i.e., The Virginia Hospital Center), the recently appointed Chair of the Virginia Hospital’s Galen Society and a 5-term Board member of the Arlington Community Foundation. In addition, she is a Board of Trustee member of both Marymount University, Arlington, VA and The Virginia College Fund, Richmond, VA; on the George Washington University Advisory Council for the Graduate School of Education and Human Development; and is a former Board of Visitor member of Davidson College, NC. Her personal interests include philanthropy, golf, tennis, travel and dancing. Ms. Reinsch resides in McLean, VA with her husband, J. Almont Pierce. They have two grown children: the older is a writer working in magazine publications in Denver and the younger is an architect working in Ms. Reinsch’s main office in Arlington, VA.
